We need to

This is for things we must do next year, that need someone to be assigned to do or be in charge of.

  • Room counts - how many people are in a room at the beginning and end of a talk
  • dot-org liason to work with the Org tables
  • ASL interpreters (in progress via Maco/Mel/Carol R/Moose & others). See Accessibility for notes.
  • volunteer form on website
  • volunteer meeting onsite
  • someone needs to 'own' shirts
  • need plan for setup people during walk-through
  • need a welcome gathering for people speaking on friday (failed in 2009 due to someone dragging people off to drink)
  • make sure (volunteered) projectors are on site by Thursday night
    • make sure to tag them [or their bag] with where they go (Owned by Vance?)
  • Better signage
    • Let's get going earlier -- get info from website and check from there
    • OLFU signs must state 'requires OLFU identification'
    • same for any other 'reg required' (ie zenoss)

We ought to

This is for things we'd like to do but it requires one or more volunteer to handle it.

  • Day care: Either someone to wrangle people with the appropriate license to staff a room and/or finding local drop-in day cares that would take kids, and for how much.
  • Use wristbands for OLFU (and anything else that pays for food) on Friday. Investigate cost.
